At this time the basics of the web site are in place. There are pages with basic information on the troop, a calendar, and information on major events for the year. These will be updated as things arise.

There are fairly extensive photo galleries as well as some accounts of some of the highlights from last year.

There are also two email accounts set up: webmaster@troop-248.com, and scoutmaster@troop-248.com. The former is to allow you to contact me with any issues or suggestions pertaining to the site. The second is a convenient way of reaching the scoutmaster.

In the near future I'm planning on setting up mailing lists for various groups such as the troop committee and possibly creating a 'web forum' where members of the troop can easily communicate. I'm also planning on putting resources such as packing lists for camping trips and helpful links to other web sites online.
