Privacy Policy

The Boy Scouts of America place the highest possible priority on youth protection. In keeping with this policy, any portion of the troop 248 website which is visible to the general public will not:

  • Identify any minor except by first name.
  • Associate the name of any minor with a photograph.
  • Disclose contact information (email addresses, phone numbers, etc.) for any minor.

In addition, to protect the privacy of adult leaders, publicly visible portions of the site will not provide contact information for adult leaders without their consent. First and last names of adults will be used in some places, such as the list of Eagle Scouts and the list of adult leaders.

Any portions of this site that facilitate communication with a minor, in any form, will be protected by individual user IDs and passwords to prevent unauthorized access.
